You’ve come to the right place for band and orchestra instrument rental in North San Diego County! We have a simple, month-to-month, rent to own program that allows you to exchange the instrument as often as needed as your child grows, without penalties or fees. You can cancel the rental at any time, and it’s easy to get started. ALL of your rental payments applies toward eventually owning the instrument, and it stays with you even when you exchange for larger sizes or different instruments. Come into the store, and we’ll be happy to help you select the proper instrument to get started! You can now rent your favorite instrument for private lessons or for joining the band at school. Check out all of the instruments that are available on our products page. Rental prices range from $19.00 to $59.00 per month. All of our instruments can be purchased or are Rent-to-Own.

For years, Forte Academy of the Arts has been providing students quality, name-brand instruments at an affordable price. We understand that our customers lead busy lives and do not need to be burdened with the stress of a complicated instrument rental. To make things easy for you, we have customized the instruments and books specific to your school and included the items your director is requesting. We provide only director-recommended brands of instruments and offer free delivery to your school if you'd like.

How does our plan work?

No required deposits. Our agreement is simply month to month. Cancel at any time. Great monthly rental rates. Director recommended instrument brands. Maintenance and replacement plans give you peace of mind. Expert repair staff on-site at our location. Road service to school with free delivery. Apply payments toward purchase or step up to an advanced instrument!

What do I do next?

If you have not completed the new customer process by creating a rental account, call now or click rent now to let us know what instrument you are interested in and we will help you get started. Once you have created your rental account with us, you will be asked to inform us of your student's city and school. Our system will then display for us the instruments, accessories, and method books requested by your school's director. Once you have chosen the instrument, agreed to the rental terms, and completed the information, we will process your order and prepare your instrument for pick up or delivery. You will asked to select a delivery option. Most people choose our in studio delivery option. However, we also visit your school often to work with the directors, pick up and drop off repair, and deliver instrument and accessory purchases.
